Our range of Hampers and gift boxes offer a delicious selection of Orkney's finest food and drink, and all our hampers come attractively presented in hand-made traditional wicker baskets. Including your personalised message, they make ideal gifts for friends and clients or a delicious reminder of an enjoyable island visit.

We became aware that the the quality of food & drink produce that we enjoyed here in Orkney would appeal to a larger market place via mail order. Tourist would come into our shop in Stromness at the end of their visit to Orkney to purchase goods to take home, cheese and oatcakes being a firm favourite, they would often comment on the lack of supply of certain items out with Orkney. This was the conception of The Original Orkney Hamper Co.

All our hampers and gift boxes containing perishable goods are sent on a 24hr carriage service only. They leave us one day and will be at the delivery address by 5pm the following day. We only post mon - thurs. Non perishable will be sent either 48hr or normal post. Hampers sent 24hrs or 48hrs with parcelforce can be tracked.

Christmas is our busiest time and we take orders up to the 19th of december our last posting day is 21st december, but as we deal with a lot of perishable goods stocks may be getting low by this time order early to avoid disappointment
